I'm Amanda Cahill, and I live in beautiful Valatie, NY, with my husband, Scott. WanderWise was born out of both passion and necessity. With Scott courageously fighting colon cancer for over two years, balancing his care, appointments, and daily life alongside a demanding job became overwhelming. I knew I needed a change.

Travel has always been my peace—a way to grow, connect, and find joy. Turning that passion into a career felt natural. In my first year, I dedicated myself to learning the ropes, and in my second, I began building WanderWise. As I approach my third year in April 2025, I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited about the future.

WanderWise isn’t just a travel business; it’s a reflection of my journey and my commitment to creating unforgettable experiences for my clients while cherishing what matters most at home.
